A disturbing video is circulating – which shows the dangers of playing with guns, while on social media.<\/p>\n
A woman believed to be Cassandra Damper was playing with a gun, when it accidentally went off shooting her friend Devyn Holmes in the head.<\/p>\n
On late Saturday (March 31) night, three people \u2014Devyn Holmes, Cadillac Coleman, and Cassandra Damper\u2014 were sitting in a car when things turned deadly. They were at a Valero gas station off Southmore Boulevard in Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n
In the video, Cassandra is seen playing with a gun – in a car with her friend Devyn and another male friend, Cadillac. And then things go CRAZY.<\/p>\n
Cassandra begins pointing the gun at Devin – who tells her to stop. But Cassandra doesn’t listen and after hearing that there “was no clip in the gun”, she playfully pulls the trigger.<\/p>\n
That was a terrible mistake because the gun was loaded – and Cassandra ended up shooting her man in the head,<\/p>\n
Almost immediately after the shooting someone called the police, and claimed that Devyn shot himself in the head”.<\/p>\n
Devyn is currently on LIFE SUPPORT. He’s in very serious condition, and may not make it.<\/p>\n

Cassandra Damper is currently charged with tampering with evidence after police said she tried to wipe off her hands before testing for gun powder residue.<\/p>\n
In court today, Eyewitness News learned that Damper initially lied to police on the scene telling investigators that Holmes held the gun to his head and pulled the trigger.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Easter Sunday at the Valero gas station on Almeda and Southmore.<\/p>\n
Police say the victim, Devyn Holmes, was inside of a parked car with Damper and another man who were playing with two guns on Facebook Live.<\/p>\n
“You’re making me nervous,” Holmes says in the Facebook Live, while trying to lower the gun Damper was holding.
\nPolice say the three were inside the car for about nine minutes before the accidental shooting.<\/p>\n
Sheree Holmes, Devyn’s mother, told Eyewitness News that he’s in stable condition, but underwent surgery and is still unconscious at Ben Taub Hospital.<\/p>\n
Devyn is described as a family man who is devoted to his 5-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
Damper is free on bond and was given an ankle monitor and curfew.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors say there will likely be more charges against Damper in the future.<\/p>\n
