Habitual borehole conmen Robson Mhurira and Kumbirai Kanyenze are on the loose after conning two different clients.

On one occasion a victim who was conned $2200 said,
“Sisi Vee shame these guys – There are two guys going by the names Robson Mhuriro and Kumbirai Simon Kanyenze who are conning people saying they drill boreholes.
They say they are based in Chegutu and their company is called Lifedrop Drilling. They request an upfront payment as their business condition. As soon as you pay they start giving all sorts of excuses about their machinery giving them problems. Later on they don’t answer your calls or they divert calls to the office and the ladies there just tell you Kanyenze has left his phone. The guys are not even apologetic even when you get to reach them over their mobiles. The one called Robson Mhuriro is very rude and does not even show some remorse. I have been a victim of these guys and don’t want my fellow Zimbabweans to be victims as well.
” Zvakaoma .We never learn.The fact that many of you approach me after you have been conned means you know that’s my area too. So why not just sacrifice $20 for my drink and we investigate the business people before you lose your hundreds and thousands .Why not just lose $20 $30 $50 which is not even anything considering the job I will do for you to save your hundreds …asi mazimbabweans munofunda ere shuwa.Since 2010 I have been naming and shaming and this is 2017 but you are still coming to me after you are conned and not before you are conned …mafungiro edusoka. On another occasion they conned a physically challenged zimbabwean woman us$2800 after she trusted them to drill a borehole at her property.It was never done and efforts to get hold of them have been in vain for the past weeks.
“How evil is that .Basa kuswerera kunyomba zanu yet some of us are just as evil hearted as the zanu thugs.
Then wozwa rimwe dinga richiti such conartists should not be pushed in front of oncoming traffic. Do we even imagine the pain the woman is going through ?
I fail to understand how anyone can be so evil and heartless .I guess that’s why evil mugabe and his devils is our president…we are evil too …..It’s not too late to change. ” Said sisi Vee

” I had a Borehole drilled by Robson Mhuriro and people he put forward as colleagues but, as I learnt from Kudzai Kanyenze on Wednesday 1 November 2017, was in fact Nyika , Robson Mhuriro’s brother.
The Borehole in Harare was sited well and produced copious amounts of water, never running dry even at the height of the worst drought in .
The contract had been to site, drill and fit with a submersible solar pump! The first 2 tasks were executed well but problems arose when, after receiving the $1800 deposit for the pump and solar units, pipes of a substandard quality were brought on site.
When I pointed out that the equipment as well as trenches of 12cm depth were not what they had expressed as the bench mark for the task, their trench diggers left the site in June and were not contactable until October when Robson contacted me and told me that wrong components had been bought and therefore the task could not be completed.
Robson then suggested that the money they owed me could be used to drill another hole. I gave them the go ahead to dig a hole for my sister at her plot in Chegutu. This could not be done because the survey on the plots had not been completed.
In October 2015. I asked Nyika to meet me in Harare to discuss the way forward. He agreed to reimburse the money. I spoke to Robson Mhuriro who through all this appeared to be eager to help me to recover my money.
We agreed that they would survey for water at my plot in Wedza and see how to recover the money to drill the Borehole. After the survey, Robson who had done the survey with Kanyenze, then urged me to recover the money from Nyika without once owning up to the relationship between them.
I found myself needing to have another Borehole sighted and sunk in Wedza. I spoke to Robson Manyika. He sent me a Quotation and said the hole would be drilled 1 week after payment of $2800.
The $2800 was paid and 4 weeks later the hole has not been drilled and each time you manage to speak with them, they tell a different story!
Very disheartening was learning twice from Kanyenze and twice too from Clothilda, that Lifedrop has no drills of their own but are middlemen who masquerade as Drillrig owners.
