The man from Boston who has been dubbed the ‘Incognito Bandit’ was arrested on Friday as he tried to flee on a flight bound for South Africa.
Albert Taderera, 36, of Brighton, is believed the be the ‘incognito bandit’ who robbed 16 banks in the Boston area while wearing a dark hoodie, dark gloves, and a face mask or sunglasses
between February 2015 and March 2017.
In most of the cases the ‘Incognito Bandit’ would be wearing a dark hoodie along with a face mask, sunglasses and gloves.
The robber would always make verbal demands for the money and then threaten tellers with a black semi-automatic handgun.
There was also something else in common with the robberies in that the banks would all be located in the suburbs, near wooded areas through which the robber could come and then make his escape.
Taderera was apprehended at Dulles International Airport in Virginia on Friday morning as he was about to leave the country.
The FBI had to act fast. They only learned of Taderera’s imminent departure on Thursday night.
Initially he was supposed to take a morning flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but then it became clear he had switched his ticket to take an evening plane to Johannesburg, South Africa.
Just as he was about to board the flight, Taderera was arrested.
Last year, the FBI doubled the reward leading to the bandit’s capture to $20,000 after becoming concerned about his ‘increasingly brazen and violent behavior.’
The net finally began to close in on Taderera when earlier this month Concord, Massachusetts Police saw a black BMW sedan outside a local bank, noting that it matched the description of the person responsible for the 16 robberies.
Police saw the BMW’s registration was revoked and had it was towed.
When Taderera called the tow company one week later, he was informed that his car was now in police custody.

This petition has been called upon to speak to the truth about Albert’s character and all those who have stood to support Albert’s character in way of signage testify to the statements made as the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Albert came to the united states from Zimbabwe South Africa for college on a student Visa. Once he completed college, Albert gained employment and continued his stay on a work visa and was then later married for 3 years as referenced above.
Albert is employed by a management company as a technical engineer, a skill in which the United States encourages for work visa standard to help make America a better country. Albert has successfully participated in a vast array of technical support we are each .

Albert is a man of great character, doting, loving, and nuturing who loves and gives his all to any human being he encounters. He is not violent and holds many of his vast close relationships for his entire lifetime. Albert loves his children with no equivocation and has done all within his means and access to financially support and provide a healthy relationship with his children. Albert has been engaged to be married to his fiancé, a born U.S. Citizen, for the last 10 months with a wedding ceremony scheduled to take place in Boston MA on 8/27/2016. Albert is not a threat to society or any thriving participant of our society. Albert, in fact, makes healthy contributions to our communities as he is God fearing and participates in his Christian Communities. Albert has partnered with his fiancé to support and complete activities for their non profit 501c 3 organization called Universal Achievers, established in 2014, which promotes self esteem and accomplishment of children of less fortunate and poverty stricken families. These programs provide life coaching skills to children.
The matter of Albert’s citizenship is at hand and will be paid prompt attention that it deserves to become rectified. Albert is a man who is law abiding, a tax payer, supports his children fully financially and emotionally, and a loyal and devoted fiancé, step father, and friend.
